You won’t find any singing workshops listed here until 2026.
That’s because Gwenda’s Garage, a new musical with script by Nicky Hallett and music by Val, will be on stage in Sheffield and London. It is based on oral history interviews and centres on Gwenda’s, a real-life garage run by three lesbian mechanics in 1980s Sheffield, the era of Clause 28. It runs at The Crucible Studio, Sheffield from October 15th -25th and a London venue, (to be announced July 8th) October 30th – November 29th.
